Illiteraraty are Earle Peach (guitar and vocals), Ellen Van der Hoeven (mandolin and vocals), Mark Douglas (keyboard and vocals), Natalie Philp (bass and vocals), Robin Dominik (violin and vocals), and Wes Skakun (percussion). They play a diverse repertoire that is deeply musically literate, drawing on diverse “metafolk” traditions and genres. Their tight instrumental interplay and complex vocal harmonies exemplify all that is thrilling about live music. This show is a benefit concert for the Indian Residential School Survivors Society.
